DUANE STEELE
Saturday March 4 at 7 pm

Duane’s professional career began with fronting the band Rock 'N Horse. After Top 20 singles, nonstop touring, and a Juno nomination for Country Band of the Year, Duane landed a publishing contract in Nashville as a full time staff songwriter working with and learning from some of the most talented writers in North America.

A showcase during Canadian Country Music Week in Calgary resulted in recording contract with Mercury Canada. His debut album 'PO Box 423' boasted three singles in the Top 5 on the Canadian Country Charts, including the No. 1 Hit 'Anita Got Married'.

All six singles in 'This Is The Life' achieved Top 30 chart (2 becoming Top 10). Three of Duane's seven supportive videos went to No. 1 on CMT.

Duane has opened for Shania Twain, Terri Clark, and Prairie Oyster. Duane has won CCMA's Independent Male Vocalist of the Year on album 'I’ll Be Alright', and Vocal Collaboration of the Year with Lisa Brokop on single “Two Names On An Overpass”.
